The compass bracket is easily installed with three little retaining pins and the retractor is no more difficult than changing a watch band. Changing the battery is no big deal if you just take the time to familiarize yourself with the process. The whole thing can be disassembled and reassembled in under five minutes! This is a great product but it must be used with Aeris/Oceanic Hose Mount Compass and the Aeris/Oceanic Computer Retractor.
