This retractable compass is a must-have for every diver. Diving with a properly functioning compass is just as important as diving with a gauge and computer console. The Sherwood compass is liquid filled, has gun-sight accuracy and has a side window for quick reference on easy-to-read bearing indicators on a luminescent display. The ratchet bezel can also be rotated for navigation. The bezel numbers are molded through the bezel ring and cannot be rubbed away.
The compass card rests on a precision jeweled bearing and uses magnets for accuracy and a quick response. The compass housing has a large vertical interior, allowing for incredible viewing angles. The bezel has compass headings in 30 degree numbered increments and indicator marks for every 10 degrees. The bezel has twin-heading indicators for alignment and a lubber line across the face of the compass.
