Hi Diver! I'm Kelvin, click here to see accessories and upgrades for this product.
You cannot breathe directly out of a scuba tank because of the high pressure. A regulator reduces pressure to safe a level that can be inhaled by the diver. A diving regulator has two parts: the First Stage reduces the tank pressure and connects it to the Second Stage which contains the mouthpiece for breathing
Manufacturer Reference / Part No.:
Feature1 | First Stage: |
Feature2 | Use the DST first stage. |
Feature3 | Unique over-balanced, diaphragm design - as the diver descends, the over-balancing feature allows the medium pressure gas in the hose to increase at a rate faster than ambient. This results in superior performance at depth. |
Feature4 | 2 HP ports and 4 MP ports on a rotating turret are angled for optimum hose routing. |
Feature5 | An environmental dry system keeps water out of the main spring chamber thus preventing ice buildup and keeping silt and contamination out. |
Feature6 | Second Stage: |
Feature7 | Pneumatically-balanced second stage results in smooth, easy breathing. |
Feature8 | Easy-to-grip opening effort control knob keeps the diver in control. |
Feature9 | A silicone exhaust valve improves the breathing performance of the regulator. |
Feature10 | The Comfo-bite mouthpiece virtually eliminates jaw-fatigue. |
Feature11 | A heat exchanger (patented) which surrounds the valve mechanism, dissipates the cold caused by gas expansion while drawing in the warmth of the ambient water. |
