The ultimate recreational diver rating. All PADI Instructors who have certified at least 25 PADI Divers and have earned five or more PADI Specialty Instructor certifications can be a Master Scuba Diver Trainer. The PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer rating sets you apart as a dive instructor who takes continuing education seriously and is committed to teaching a variety of courses. (Potential employers like this.) Being an MSDT signifies that you’ve got the experience and certifications to offer all the training a diver needs to become a Master Scuba Diver – the ultimate recreational diver rating.

Our Master Scuba diver package includes five specialties of your choice for $500. Your course tuition includes all instruction and certification processing fees for each specialty. It does not include the training materials for each specialty class or the final processing fee for your Master Scuba Diver rating which will include the certification packet and a year long membership to the PADI Diving Society. Students must provide their own personal gear (mask, snorkel, boots, fins, defog) and additional specialty equipment may be necessary for individual dives. If needed, rental for BCD, regulator, wetsuit, weights, and tank is $75 for a single weekend. Each specialty requires a different number of dives ranging from no diving at all to up to four open water training dives. The PADI standards dictate that only three training dives may be completed in a single day (that’s a max of six per weekend) so your specialties will need to take place over multiple weekends. In addition, you will need to have 50 logged dives to apply for the Master Scuba Diver rating.
